Bring knitting needles, we'll supply yarn for hat-making and have instructions on hand. Or, feel free to bring another project that you have in the works.
Please find instructions for making hats here. Thanks so much to members of the Crafting Spooglers group for translating the knitting instructions.
If you can't make a knitting meet-up but you would like to make a hat, feel free to get in touch with me. We can arrange to get you yarn and pick up the finished product.

Malaika Refugee Theatre - Durchqueren
Theater play: Klick, Augenblick - eine unvergessliche Reise
When: Saturday, 1st of September
Where: Hegnerhof, Dorfstrasse 63, Kloten
Start time: 8 pm (doors and bar open at 6:30 pm)
Played by Malaika Refugee Theater in German.
Tickets: 25 CHF
In addition to being an artistic outlet for refugees, the Malaika Refugee theater in Zürich brings refugees and the local community closer together. Led by Brigitte Schmidlin and founder Nicole Stehli, the theater interweaves entertainment, integration, information, and emotion.
Malaika theater opens up the human heart and soul to celebrate a beautiful human trait: kindness. During the five years of its existence its crew grew to 40 people from 10 different countries.
The play they perform tells the story of their lives they had to leave behind when they were forced to flee their homes. It is a series of acts that gives insight into different cultures, traditions, and also the hardships of being an outsider while trying to create a new home. A lot of it is based on actual past events, and while the rest is the product of someone's imagination, the play as a whole rings true. As such, their play never fails to succeed whenever and wherever they perform it.
We invite you to join us in experiencing this amazing yet humbling piece of true art.
Malaika performs different dances and songs combined with short theater scenes on the stage in Kloten. Some of us experienced in 2017 that this theater group is skilled and with style, they provide great spirit and amusement on stage. Due to a smaller stage and rooms behind the scene, the group will give a twist to their play. Zharity will spend a great time enjoying this performance. We are looking forward to the show!
Great food is coming your way too!! You also have the option to share a meal starting at 18h30, cooked by the Malaika Theater Group themselves. This is actually how they started in the first place. Cooking together, then sharing a meal & stories!
More information can be found on this flyer.
Please RSVP to this Facebook event or email to sige@zharity.ch to reserve your ticket.

Sige
