EVENTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before registering for a Zharity Event.

By registering to a Zharity's Event (hereinafter Zharity Event), you acknowledge the legally binding effect of the following terms and conditions. By registering to a Zharity Event you declare to understand, acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions.

Insurance

Insurance is the responsibility of the participant.

Loss, Damage Or Injury

Zharity is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury to the participant arising from or connected with any Zharity Event no matter how that loss, damage or injury is caused.

Participant’s Belongings

Zharity does not accept any responsibility of any kind for the participant’s belongings. Zharity has no responsibility for any loss through theft, breakage or otherwise of any property of any participant.

Cancellations Or Changes To An Event

Please note: this only applies for a Zharity Event organized by Zharity. For events organized by a third party, that we attend with a Zharity team or group, the third party terms and conditions apply.

Zharity reserves the right to cancel, postpone, and/or change any Zharity Event for any reason at any time.

Should Zharity postpone or change the Zharity Event - the participant will be notified of changes and offered participation. If Zharity has to postpone or change an event, there is no right of refund.

If Zharity has to cancel an event, our liability is limited to a partial refund (maximum 50%) of the event fee only, bank charges, in any, will be entirely at the expense of the refund recipient.

In the event the Zharity Event has to be canceled for causes of force majeure, external influences (demonstrations, influence of violence, threats by third parties, pandemics, epidemics, COVID-19), event bans by the authorities (Confederation, canton, local council) or other circumstances for which Zharity is not responsible, no refund will be given.

Cancellation By You

Please note: this only applies for Zharity Events. For events organized by a third party, that we attend with a Zharity team or group, the third party terms and conditions apply.

If you have to cancel for a Zharity Event, please contact the organizer as stated in the event registration form. If you cancel/withdraw from the Zharity Event less than 10 days prior to the Zharity Event, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Illness

 If you have an illness communicable by air, such as the flu or COVID - for the well being of the community and of the participants to the event, we ask that they not attend the event. We also ask that if you have been in recent close contact with someone with COVID to please not attend.

Photos and Videos

Photos and/or videos taken at Zharity Events (including events by other organizations that we attend with a Zharity team) may be published in print or posted online for download, in online photo albums, on photo/video sharing sites and/or on social media sites. Photos and videos may also be made available on data storage devices, or through email.

By attending a Zharity Event, photos and videos of you at the event may be published in any or all of the above-mentioned media and devices. By your attendance to Zharity Events, you are consenting to photographs being taken and shared through the above-listed platform(s) unless you expressly revoke your consent by email to info@zharity.ch. 

Events by Third Party

If an event is organized by a third part, and we visit with a Zharity team or Zharity group, the terms and conditions of the third party apply.

For all our events, insurance is the responsibility of the participant.
