Pad Project Fall Summary

The fall round of the Reusable Pad Project prep is all wrapped up, and we’re thrilled with the outcome! Our home sewers are now working to assemble the 215 pads so they can be ready to go to Ethiopia in November. Thanks to your support, another 43 more children will be receiving washable, reusable pads (83 including the packages we sent previously this year). This project helps to promote equality of education by making it easier for these girls to go to school during the time when they have their periods.

Thank you so much to all our volunteers who helped to cut the materials and a thank you to our volunteers who signed up to sew pads at home. A big thank you as well to our friends at Luus Muus and Our Happy Place for sharing your beautiful spaces with us!

Zharity is successful because of all the amazing people involved. From the people we serve to our donors, agencies and volunteers - they are what make us succeed.
