Thank you to the town of Spišska Nová Ves, Slovakia and Anastazia for working with us to get a shipment to the border and into Ukraine.
Here are some of the highlights of our past month:
Joining a company and their volunteers make personal hygiene kits in their office
Little notes of encouragement sprinkled throughout the different donations for the refugees
Doing a call out for suitcases and 3 days later fulfilling the need
In 5 days getting 104 boxes packed and items collected to head off to Ukraine
Having families make kits together
Having schools, companies and religious groups join the effort
One person drove from Basel with a car load
Individuals donating one to 150 kits
One of our volunteers dropped off outdoor toys to a bunker housing families and one of the children grabbing the volunteers hand to play with the toys together
Being able to drop off food and purchase very specific needs for individual refugees, knowing it will make a difference
Community members of all ages joining in this effort
We want to thank everyone for their continued support, efforts and time. Together we make a difference.
